How it works
KadiTools includes a small parser for JavaScript literal syntax (the JSON5 rules): unquoted keys, single-quoted strings, trailing commas, comments, hexadecimal numbers, Infinity/NaN. If the input is a JSON string that itself contains JSON (like "{\"a\":1}"), it's decoded too. Nothing is evaluated — the code never runs.
FAQ
Why not just use eval?
eval runs code, which is dangerous with untrusted input. This parser only reads data.
