How it works
The XML is parsed by the browser's XML parser (the same one used for SVG and RSS), then written back with consistent indentation. Comments, CDATA sections and processing instructions are kept. If the XML isn't well-formed you get the line and column of the error.

Does it change my data?
Only whitespace between elements. Text content, attributes and their values are preserved.
