How it works
Numbers are written as text in Helvetica at the position you choose, adjusted to each page's size and rotation. Skipped pages (such as a cover or table of contents) aren't numbered, and numbering starts on the next page at the first number you set — so “skip 1, start at 1” numbers the second page as 1.
