● QR codes are created and read in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or tracked.
How it works
The image is analyzed in your browser with the open-source jsQR library — nothing is uploaded. With the camera, frames are scanned continuously until a code is found. The content is shown before anything is opened: QR codes are a common way to hide phishing links (“quishing”), so check the address first.
The reader recognizes links, Wi-Fi networks, contact cards (vCard and MeCard), emails, phone numbers, SMS and locations, and shows their fields.
FAQ
The code isn't detected?
Crop the image around the code, make sure it's sharp and not too small, and keep the quiet zone (white border) visible.
Is my camera recorded?
No. The video stays in your browser and stops when you click Stop or leave the page.
