UTF-8 Decoder
Turn a list of UTF-8 bytes back into text — and find invalid sequences.

How it works
Paste bytes in hex (C3 A9), decimal (195 169), binary, %XX or \xXX form. The decoder reads them strictly as UTF-8 and reports invalid sequences — the cause of “mojibake” like é instead of é, which happens when UTF-8 text is read as Latin-1.
