How it works
Direct proportion: x = B × C ÷ A. If 4 eggs make 250 g of batter, 10 eggs make 250 × 10 ÷ 4 = 625 g. Inverse proportion: x = A × B ÷ C. If 4 workers need 250 hours, 10 workers need 4 × 250 ÷ 10 = 100 hours.
