How it works
The text is extracted from the file in your browser (PDF with pdf.js, Word with a DOCX reader), then section headings in English and French (Experience, Education, Compétences…) are recognized, dates are detected, and over 400 skills are matched from a dictionary. ATS software parses CVs in a similar way: if a field comes out wrong here, a recruiter's system may get it wrong too — a sign to simplify your layout.
