How it works
KadiTools uses IMG.LY's open-source background-removal model (ISNet) running with ONNX Runtime in WebAssembly. The model predicts, for every pixel, whether it belongs to the foreground, and that mask becomes the alpha channel of the result.
The first run downloads the model (40–170 MB depending on quality) from IMG.LY's CDN; it's cached afterwards. Processing a photo takes a few seconds on a recent computer.

Is my photo uploaded?
No. Only the AI model is downloaded; the photo is processed by your own browser.
It's slow on my phone
The model needs a lot of memory and compute. Use the Fast quality, or a computer for large photos.
Hair edges aren't perfect
Fine hair and transparent objects are the hardest cases for any automatic tool. Try the Best quality.
