How it works
KadiTools enlarges the image with Lanczos-3 resampling, the high-quality filter used by professional image software, which keeps edges smooth without the blockiness of simple scaling. An optional light blur first smooths JPG compression artifacts so they aren't magnified, and an unsharp mask restores crispness afterwards.
This is classical upscaling: it makes enlarged images look clean, but it can't invent detail that isn't in the original the way generative AI upscalers do.

The output is limited to about 60 megapixels, which is what browsers can safely handle.
