How it works
Quarter turns (90°, 180°) are exact and lossless in pixels. For other angles the image is rotated around its center with high-quality resampling. With “expand canvas” on, the output grows so no corner is cut; turn it off to keep the original size and crop the corners instead.
FAQ
Why are there empty corners?
Rotating a rectangle by a non-right angle leaves triangular gaps. They're transparent in PNG/WebP, or filled with the background color you choose.
How do I straighten a horizon?
Use small angles like −2° or 1.5°, untick “Expand canvas”, then crop the result with the Image Cropper.
