How it works
Contrast pushes tones away from (or toward) mid-gray: shadows get darker and highlights brighter. KadiTools uses the classic contrast-correction formula, so 0 leaves the image untouched.

Why do colors look stronger?
Increasing contrast also increases perceived saturation. Lower it with the Saturation Adjuster if needed.
