How it works
The image is scaled down by the block size with averaging, then scaled back up with nearest-neighbor sampling so each block becomes a solid square of its average color.

Is pixelation safe for hiding faces or text?
Use large blocks (at least 20 px). Small blocks can sometimes be partially reconstructed.
