How it works
Unsharp masking subtracts a blurred copy from the image to find edges, then amplifies them. Amount sets how strong the effect is; radius sets how wide the edges are. The preview shows the effect as it appears at 100% zoom.

Can it fix a very blurry photo?
No tool can restore detail that wasn't captured. Sharpening helps with slight softness; too much creates halos.
