How it works

KadiTools decodes your SVG file in the browser, draws it onto an in-memory canvas and encodes it again as PNG. SVG is a vector format, so you can choose the output scale and get crisp edges at any size.

PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which makes it ideal for screenshots, logos, graphics and anything you'll edit again.

FAQ

Is my SVG uploaded to a server?

No. The whole conversion happens in your browser using the Canvas API; the file never leaves your device.

Will converting to PNG reduce quality?

No. PNG is lossless — every pixel of the decoded image is kept exactly.

Is there a size limit?

There's no artificial limit. Very large images (above roughly 50 megapixels) may be slow or fail on phones because of browser memory limits.

My SVG comes out small — why?

Your SVG has no width and height, so the browser uses a default size (often 300×150 px). Pick a larger scale, or add width and height attributes to the file.
