How it works
KadiTools decodes your BMP file in the browser, draws it onto an in-memory canvas and encodes it again as PNG. BMP files are uncompressed, so the converted file is usually many times smaller.

Is my BMP uploaded to a server?
No. The whole conversion happens in your browser using the Canvas API; the file never leaves your device.
Will converting to PNG reduce quality?
No. PNG is lossless — every pixel of the decoded image is kept exactly.
Is there a size limit?
There's no artificial limit. Very large images (above roughly 50 megapixels) may be slow or fail on phones because of browser memory limits.
