Hash Comparator

Make sure a download wasn't corrupted or tampered with by comparing its checksum.

Drop the downloaded file — or paste a second hash below

How it works

Paste the checksum published by the software author, then drop the file you downloaded. KadiTools detects the algorithm from the hash length (MD5 = 32 hex characters, SHA-1 = 40, SHA-256 = 64, SHA-384 = 96, SHA-512 = 128), computes it locally and compares — ignoring case and spaces. You can also compare two hashes you already have.

MD5 and SHA-1 are fine for detecting accidental corruption but not for security: prefer SHA-256 when it's available.
